These terms apply between you and RS Consulting & Partner AG, [STREET, POSTCODE CITY, SWITZERLAND] ("we", "us") for your use of the app Snare. By creating an account you agree to them.
Snare gives a closed group a private channel with a photo game running inside it. There is no public area, no search and no recommendations to strangers. What you post in a channel is seen by the members of that channel — and by anyone holding a recap link you have shared.
You must be at least 17 years old. An account is personal: don't share your credentials and don't let anyone play in your name.
You need an account and an active membership to create a channel or join one.
Membership costs CHF 4 per month and starts with one free month. It renews automatically for one month at a time until you cancel.
Purchase, billing and cancellation run entirely through your App Store account. You cancel in your device settings, at the latest 24 hours before the current period ends. We can neither charge nor cancel, and we do not see your payment details.
Ending your membership costs you nothing you have made. Your channels and photos stay readable; you simply cannot contribute anything new until you subscribe again.
Refunds follow Apple's rules. Ask Apple, not us.
We may change the price. We will tell you in the app at least 30 days beforehand; if the change doesn't suit you, cancel before it takes effect.
Volt is the in-game currency. You earn it by playing or buy it in the App Store. Volt lets you send a single dare, put a bounty on one, force an instant snap, or buy yourself off the bench.
Volt has no monetary value. It cannot be cashed out, refunded into money, or transferred to another account. Points, wins and rankings are never for sale — Volt buys actions, never outcomes. Purchased Volt does not expire, but it goes with your account if you delete it.
The photos and text you contribute remain yours. You grant us only the right to store them and display them to the members of your channel and to the recipients of recap links your group shares — technically necessary, limited to the period of storage, non-transferable, and carrying no right of exploitation whatsoever. We do not use your pictures for advertising.
You confirm that you hold the necessary rights to what you upload and that people shown in it have agreed.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour.
The following are prohibited in particular:
If you create a channel, you are also responsible for whom you let in.
Every post and every comment can be reported. You can block individual members; admins can remove content from their channel and exclude members.
We review reported content within 24 hours. Anything breaching Section 6 is removed, and we suspend the account responsible — permanently and without warning in serious cases. Reports reach us at abuse@snapordare.app.
A suspended account loses access; you still cancel any running membership yourself in the App Store.
We do our best, but we do not owe uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, faults and changes to the feature set happen. We may adapt or discontinue features; where something material is affected, we will say so in the app beforehand.
Keep your own copies of pictures that matter to you. We are not a photo archive.
We are liable for intent and gross negligence. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual duties, limited to foreseeable damage and capped at the amounts you paid for Snare in the past twelve months. This limitation does not apply where liability is mandatory by law, in particular for personal injury.
We are not liable for what members do inside channels. You carry out dares on your own responsibility. Do nothing that endangers you or anyone else.
You can delete your account in the app at any time. That removes your profile data, photos and posts. You must cancel the membership separately in the App Store — deleting your account does not end it.
We may change these terms. We will announce material changes in the app at least 30 days in advance. If you keep using Snare after that, the new terms apply; if you disagree, cancel before then.
Swiss law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. The place of jurisdiction is [CITY], Switzerland. If you are a consumer, mandatory protective provisions and courts of your country of residence remain unaffected.
Apple is not a party to these terms and is neither responsible for Snare nor obliged to provide support for it. The agreement covering the app is between you and us. Apple may enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
